Jonathan Howard
Jonathan is a Chartered Financial Planner and has worked with in Financial Services for over 30 years. His close work with individual clients and business owners over the years, has meant he has been appointed as Trustee or Executor to a number of clients.
With sale of his firm (Carnelian Capital Management Limited) to Richmond House Group, Jonathan has taken on the role of CEO to guide the business through the exciting period of being part of the IWP group of financial planning firms. When not working, Jonathan enjoys watching football, drinking wine and spending time in Italy.
Wendy DevlinHead of Advisory Services
Wendy Devlin Dip CII, CIFA, CeMAP, MP&ER
Wendy advises private clients, specialising in long-term care and pension planning, and has helped many businesses achieve their long-term goals whilst keeping them compliant with workplace pensions.
Wendy is a highly experienced and qualified adviser who has worked in the corporate sector for over 10 years, and is currently close to obtaining Chartered status. In the two years since joining Richmond House she has qualified in the specialist area of long-term care advice. She also has a great deal of experience working with business owners in both protecting their wealth and extracting it tax-efficiently.
She lives in Clifton and is actively involved with her local hockey club as Ladies club captain. Although she no longer plays, she now has time to watch her son play who is far better than she was!

Carole joined the Richmond House Group in 1992 having worked for Schroders for eight years, running one of their Central London Branch Administration Teams. At Richmond House Carole has progressed her career throughs several roles including running the Administration Team, Practice Manager, HR for the group and is currently Head of Operations and Corporate Client Services.

Gemma PearsonHead of Wealth Management Client Services
Gemma’s career in Financial Services began in 2017 when she took on the role managing the client support team at Richmond House. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, she draws on her prior experience in leadership development and project management to create a supportive, proactive, inquiring client support team. Prior to joining Richmond House, Gemma ran a successful music and physical development business for pre-school children which was a hugely enjoyable, rewarding and enabled time at the school gate as well. Gemma also enjoyed ten years at The Work Foundation, co-ordinating residential leadership programmes and researching high-performance leadership within blue-chip companies. Gemma is enjoying a new career in financial services and relishing the opportunity to learn and grow in the role. She has passed her R01 and intends to continue working towards her diploma to build on her industry knowledge. Outside of work, Gemma is an active Scout Leader and netball player, and enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage sons.
Dawn StaffordHead of Governance
Dawn joined Carnelian Capital Management in April 2015, and has worked in the financial services sector for more than 30 years. She attained Certificates in Financial Planning – FPC1,2 & 3 in August 1997 and Certificate for Mortgage Advice- Cemap, in 2003.
As Head of Governance, Dawn makes sure that things run smoothly in accordance with FCA compliance guidelines.
Outside of work, Dawn’s interests include playing golf, Baking and walking the family dog – Betty Boo.

Kristina Bailey is a Financial Planning Consultant who is proud to be working for Richmond House Wealth Management, and who offers independent advice across a range of financial needs, keeping the client at the heart of everything she does.
Kristina has worked in financial services for the last 23 years, mainly specialising in working with private clients. She has a wealth of experience in financial planning, and provides a holistic range of solutions, including pensions, tax-efficient investments and protection plans. She offers a simple approach to often complicated situations, priding herself on her work ethic and her professionalism.
Her passions are varied, from regular Zumba classes to running and equestrian activities. In addition, she loves to cook for her friends and family, although feels that her culinary skills could be improved.
John MerrifieldFinancial Planner
John Merrifield Dip PFS, Cert CII (MP)
John is a Financial Planning Consultant at Richmond House, and is proud to work for one of Hertfordshire’s leading financial advice and investment management companies.
John has over 28 years’ experience in the financial planning profession and has previously worked for some of the largest organisations in the field. During that time, he has specialised in tax efficient investment strategies, utilising the full range of solutions available. Inheritance Tax planning is a particular focus of his, helping clients to pass wealth down to the next generation rather than to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
He is passionate about providing his clients with an excellent ongoing service and building long-term relationships with his clients and their family members.
John is an avid motorsport/Formula 1 fan and a member of Goodwood Road Racing Club, where he combines his love for period racing whilst providing advice to some well-known retired racing drivers.
John also supports two charities, the PSP Association and more locally, The Watford New Hope Trust.
Daniel RobertsonFinancial Planner
Daniel Robertson
Daniel is a Chartered Financial Planner, with 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and he takes pride in building long-term trusted relationships.
He works with clients, who are typically families, professionals, and business owners based in Hertfordshire, London, and the surrounding Counties, and advises them on a broad range of areas including; pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning. Where Daniel adds the most value is in taking the time to fully understand his clients and their needs, goals, and ambitions and then helping create a robust financial plan to help reach these objectives. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys playing squash, travelling and is a keen motorcyclist.
Toby NutleyFinancial Planner
Toby has worked in Financial Services for 12 years and is an experienced provider of holistic financial planning often with an international dimension. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has been awarded the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Certificate in Pension Transfer Advice and the Graduate Diploma in Law. He is currently studying for the Advanced Diploma for the added credibility this provides. His priority is using all the tools at his disposal to protect and grow the wealth of our clients and make sure that advice is given in clear, straightforward terms.
Outside work he has his hands full with his four-year-old daughter Elizabeth and relaxes by reading history books. He also enjoys the challenge of running and recently participated in the Paris Marathon.”
Beth MillsWill Writer and Trainee Financial Planner
Beth graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Laws and decided to follow the path of becoming a Will writer due to her previous years of work experience in this area. Since joining us, Beth has been working towards gaining her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning whilst working closely alongside the current advisers to gain further experience and knowledge. Beth is particularly looking forward to forming new client relationships and establishing her own client base within the company. Outside of the office, Beth is kept busy looking after her horse and going to the gym.’
Chris HarveyClient Support Manager
After completing A Levels in Economics, Finance and ICT, Chris felt that the natural option was a career in the financial services. He began by developing his interpersonal skills at an estate agent head office for two years, and within that role his collaboration skills flourished.
By joining Richmond House this matched his passion and drive to pursue a career in finance. He will be working towards financial planning qualifications over the coming years.
In his spare time, he keeps in sync with local football teams and is an avid Chelsea supporter. Being technologically inclined, he also stays up to date with technological advances and hopes that he can incorporate this into his role.
Tracy AbbottClient Support Manager
Tracy has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services sector, she is an experienced and effective Financial Planning Assistant. Her qualifications include FPC 1 & 2.
Tracy has worked in a variety of roles within the Financial Services Industry, her experience of both large and small companies gives her the ability to multi-task recognising and prioritising tasks and deadlines. She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to provide reliable administrative and management support by applying her business knowledge across any industry.
In her spare time Tracy enjoys reading, cooking, walking, holidays and spending time with her family and friends.
Linsey GarnettTechnical Manager
Linsey Garnett is a Diploma qualified financial planning assistant with 18 years’ experience working in the financial services industry, the last 14 years working in small to medium IFA firms. She is customer focused and prides herself on building strong client relationships. Linsey works closely with her financial advisers to provide the best outcome for their clients and enjoys the challenge of creating bespoke recommendations for clients.
Toni SmithClient Support Manager
Toni started her career at Aviva in 2006, working as a pensions administrator. She joined Richmond House in 2017, and has enjoyed providing clients and advisers with administrative and technical support during this time. She is continuing to improve her knowledge of the industry having passed her R01 and now embarking on the next qualification. Outside of work, Toni helps coach gymnastics and enjoys running, completing the London half marathon last year (2019).
James PiercyClient Support Manager
James joined Richmond House in 2018 as a business assistant, having a strong and varied background in office administration, he is also working towards his financial planning qualifications. In his spare time, James enjoys watching football and running.
Ashley BrookClient Support Manager
I have spent most of my career in the financial sector based in and around London working for several product providers as well as IFA firms and SIPP and SSAS specialists.
I believe in high quality customer service and enjoy analysing our client’s investment portfolios, pensions, protection and investment funds to ensure they are perfectly suited to their needs and objectives in life.
Outside of Richmond House Wealth Management I run a small photography business specialising in wedding photography.
Josh WotherspoonClient Support Manager
I’ve been working in the Financial Services industry for four years, starting out at Canada Life and then joining Richmond House in May 2019. My role as Business Assistant is to support the Financial Planning Assistant’s and Adviser’s in the ongoing service to existing clients, and the processing of new business. I am also currently studying towards the CII level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
